Programme overview:

Our 2026 Summer Internship Programme runs for 10 weeks, starting on Monday 15 June and finishing on Friday 21st August 2026. This internship is designed to give you a unique introduction to the Asset Management industry and offers valuable insight into how your chosen department operates within Schroders.

 

During your time with us, you’ll join our Compliance team, where you will have the opportunity to work on a range of areas, advising and supporting the investment teams. The individual will have the opportunity to work on regulatory interactions, working on monitoring and surveillance, training, and implementation of regulatory projects.

The Team

You will form part of a dynamic team of 25 individuals in the UK and 10 across the non-UK offices. The team has a wide range of experience and knowledge spanning different asset classes, operating in different jurisdictions and regulatory environments and lastly background in experience before Compliance.  

What you will do

During your 10-week internship, you will be liaising with individuals across all jurisdictions, working on daily advisory queries, reviewing alerts on trading activity, reviewing marketing materials and looking at cross border activities.  

Qualifications required:

An honours degree or equivalent – we’re not fussed when it comes to your degree subject or predicted grade

You will be in your penultimate year of study.  

A good working knowledge of document production software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

The ability to understand our target audiences

 

No prior Investment Management experience is needed. We just need you to bring your drive, passion and enthusiasm to make the most of the opportunity, to start building your career.
