The individual will spend time, through rotational assignment, with primary functions of Pall IT Department, to build sound foundational knowledge and skills. This position will provide support for desktop operations and local site server systems and will also support System administration, development, information security and support of all relevant infrastructures. This position will be located in Portsmouth, UK.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Provide administrative support for desktop and local server systems.
- Provide technical guidance and support to users for resolution of IT Issues.
- Participate in projects or teams as directed by the Manager/Supervisor.
This role is part of a rotation program where 6 months of the placement will be supporting the Client Technology team (Supporting users with issues) and 6 months in a specialist team; Network, Cloud, InfoSec, Applications, depending on business need and individual interest.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- 2 years into bachelor's degree in information technology related field
- Excellent knowledge of PC hardware and associated peripherals.
- Ability to use technical documentation and diagnostic tools to solve hardware and software problems
