As an Strategic Meetings Management Intern at Cencora, you’ll be provided the opportunity to leverage your academic understanding in a real-world, business driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- The intern will support the planning and execution of meetings and events, contributing to the development of our strategic meetings management program. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event planning, project management, and stakeholder engagement within a dynamic corporate environment.
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of meetings and events, both virtual and in-person.
- Support the development and implementation of meeting strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
- Conduct research on venues, vendors, and event technologies to support meeting planning efforts.
- Help prepare meeting materials, including agendas, presentations, and attendee communications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all logistical elements are managed effectively.
- Assist in tracking budgets and expenses related to meetings and events.
- Collect and analyze post-event feedback to help improve future meetings and events.
- Maintain organized documentation and records related to meeting planning and execution.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving the strategic meetings management process.
Experience and Educational Requirements:
Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or Event Management
Must not require sponsorship to work in the US now or in the future
