Job Overview
At TE Connectivity, you’ll help bring our purpose to life by creating a safer, sustainable, productive and connected future. Your role as an Intern in the Automotive Business Unit, will help us make the connections that move the world forward by:
- Support mapping of TE connectors to vehicle platforms, electrical architectures, and devices
- Prepare and manage engineering samples; assist with test benches and build events
- Update vehicle topology and OEM specs to track system and interface changes
- Assist with product design integration, program timelines, and approval processes (DVPR, SCR)
- Coordinate OEM change documentation and approvals; gain exposure to OEM and TE systems
Responsibilities

- Support customer build events and provide technical support as needed. support on site vehicle assembly plant problem investigation, root cause and corrective actions.
- Support weekly open issue reviews with OEM customer and internal TE meeting to root cause technical issues.
- Effectively communicate with OEM customers as the first responder to technical request, design, or quality issues.
- Closely work with account managers, product engineers, product managers and all other automotive team members to promote the business needs of the territory to foster growth
You’re the kind of person we are looking for if you:
- Have earned a high school diploma or GED
- Are currently enrolled in, or pursuing, a BA/BS Degree in Electrical Engineering,Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university—or have equivalent work experience (gap year students may also be considered).
- Preferably have prior internship experience or have completed a major project
- Are authorized to work in the U.S.
