• Provide manufacturing support for existing TE products through product capability testing, dimensional analysis, and engineering documentation.
• Drive continuous product improvement on TE products by bringing innovative ideas and fresh perspectives on existing designs and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to address various quality and manufacturing issues
• Utilize many different software skills such as Creo 10 for CAD design, PDMlink/Windchill for engineering changes and controls, VG Metrology for inspection data, and Microsoft Excel for data driven analysis to support manufacturing.
• Learn the fundamentals of connector design and become a technical expert for specific product lines.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills to build a network of colleagues and coworkers who have expertise in the many different functions at TE.
• Have achieved a minimum GPA requirement of 3.0
• Have earned a high school diploma or GED
• Are currently enrolled in, or pursuing, a BA/BS or MA/MS Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university—or have equivalent work experience (gap year students may also be considered).
• Preferably have prior internship experience or have completed a major project
• CAD experience is preferred but not required
• Are authorized to work in the U.S.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a desire to learn
