We’re looking for an Online Software Engineer Co-op to join our paid world-class internship experience. The start date for this position is May 11, 2026 (8-month term), you may be eligible for course credit depending on your institution. Our Online Software Engineer Co-op will report to a Software Engineer on the team. We are considering onsite and hybrid work options.

Responsibilities:

You will report to Producers, Development Directors and Technical Leads to lead the development of bug fixes, game changes, services and new features into our games.

Qualifications:

• You must be available for a full-time paid internship from May 11 - December 18, 2026.
• You must be enrolled in an accredited program in a related field.
• You must be returning to school for at least one semester following your work term with EA.
• You have a working knowledge of Java or C++, and SQL, Python.
• You have experience in object-oriented design and implementation.
• You have experience with server-side software.
• CI/CD knowledge is a nice-to-have
• You must be available for a full-time paid internship from May - December 2026.

We are only considering students who can work in Canada, will be enrolled in an accredited degree program throughout this co-op, and slated to graduate May 2027 or later. You must be legally authorised to work in Canada on a full-time basis during the 8 month term. Visa sponsorship and relocation are not available for this position.
