DDN - An Equipment Technician's job involves maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting various machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Job Requirements
- Conduct routine inspections and scheduled maintenance on production equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including PM schedules, downtime reports, and spare parts inventory.
- Support the installation, configuration, and alignment of new equipment.
- Connect cables, wires, and components as required during setup and repair.
- Interpret electrical schematics, machine manuals, and technical documentation for troubleshooting and repair.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and workplace regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve equipment-related issues and improve system reliability
What your background should look like
- Graduate of at least a 2-year Technology or Technical Vocational course in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in electrical systems and PLC troubleshooting.
- Proven experience in preventive maintenance and equipment reliability.
- Familiarity with CCD-based visual inspection systems.
- Strong knowledge in PLC programming, vision systems, basic electronics/electrical, automation, and robotics.
- Proficient in using computers and communication tools (e.g., MS Office, email).
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and professional behavior in the workplace.
