Position Overview
β
As a DRAM Applications Engineer Intern, you will support the validation and integration of Micronβs DRAM products into customer systems. This role offers hands-on experience in system-level testing, failure analysis, and automation development, while working closely with multi-functional teams to ensure product readiness and quality.

Responsibilities
β
- Assist in early validation of DRAM products on next-generation processors.
- Conduct system-level failure analysis, characterization, and qualification.
- Run stress tests and design experiments to evaluate DRAM behavior.
- Analyze and interpret data, debug failures, and develop diagnostic tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Product Engineering, RMA, Application Engineering) and external partners.
- Support automation of system-level testing and validation strategies.
- Communicate findings and technical insights to collaborators.

Minimum Qualifications
β
- Currently pursuing a BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Strong understanding of computer architecture and memory operation.
- Familiarity with DRAM circuits, layout, and simulation tools (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys).
- Experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators.
- Proficiency in Python, Linux, SQL; C# or Golang is valuable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Passion for innovation and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior internship or research experience in memory or logic circuit design.
- Exposure to semiconductor manufacturing or product integration.
- Hands-on experience with layout tools and verification methodologies.
- Knowledge of system-level testing and electrical failure analysis.
