Responsibilities:
- You will work through the DICE Environment Art onboarding program, taking you through the fundamentals of working with content creation for Battlefield.
- You will learn and become comfortable with our workflows, tools and the general pipeline with the help of your assigned mentor.
- You will work with multiple tasks; from building props, architecture, set dressing, terrain building and much more.
- You will, in a safe and controlled environment, learn step by step how to plan, estimate and implement your work.
- You should independently seek out information, guidance and feedback from your team members to grow and learn during your internship. You will take ownership of your learning and be an active part in shaping your internship.
- You will collaborate with your peers and Lead Artist, whether in stand-ups, playtests or general art review meetings.
Skills:
- A good foundation in 3D Art and comfortability with industry-standard software packages such as Maya, ZBrush and the Substance suite.
- A portfolio that shows solid artistic fundamentals and technical understanding of Environment Art.
- An interest in how things look and work in real life and an ability to deconstruct reference material to achieve photorealism.
- An understanding of crafting with efficiency and the importance of being mindful of performance constraints, both with regards to in-game performance and workflows.
- An analytical and critical mindset and that you are excited by challenges and able to adapt to new technologies and tasks.
- Tried and tested collaboration and communication skills. For instance, examples of situations where you have had to actively seek out and act on feedback on your work.
Eligibility:
- You must be currently enrolled at university or education provider with a planned internship period planned into the education plan, (e.g. LiA)
- You are eligible to work in Stockholm, Sweden, without the need for visa/relocation support
- You are available to commence a full-time 6 month placement in January 2026.
