Are you a program manager who enjoys building lasting relationships with technical communities? AWS is seeking a driven and focused community program manager to support the growth of our global AWS User Group community.

โ€

This individual will work with key stakeholders to create frameworks and processes which help scale the global community of AWS User Groups. This includes creation and procurement of program resources, benefits fulfillment, tracking of program engagement, and day-to-day stakeholder support.

This role will sit within our AWS Developer Experience organization, where we are shaping the future for how technical builders learn, experiment, and build with AWS by meeting them where they are and providing the right technical education, tools, and resources to enable developer success.

Key job responsibilities

ยท Work with global User Group lead to support program strategy for scaling community engagement within our AWS User Group community

ยท Create mechanisms and maintain playbooks to ensure stakeholders can seamlessly support growth of AWS User Groups globally.

ยท Manage program benefit fulfillment, distribution, and tracking of resource consumption.

ยท Own processes for analyzing and quantifying the impact (both short and long term) of community engagement via AWS User Groups.

ยท Work with stakeholders to build journeys for connecting User Group members into other relevant AWS programs.

The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications

- 2+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience coordinating between technical teams, peers and business stakeholders
- Experience collaborating with global and local stakeholders
- Experience scaling globally
- Experience working with technical and business stakeholders from global cross-functional teams
