Your Role
- Develop and implement a predictive model for software releases using historical JIRA data.
- Conduct extensive data collection and analysis related to past software releases, identifying key trends.
- Create data dashboards using Tableau to visualize analytical insights and present findings.
- Identify process gaps, propose solutions based on data analysis, and contribute to program management best practices.
- Collaborate with team leaders to understand the engineering organization's needs and support operational excellence.
- Engage in timely communication with team members, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
- Deliver actionable insights through refined predictive models and dashboards within the first year.
- Demonstrate initiative and independence in developing data-driven solutions to enhance planning and resource allocation.
What You Will Bring
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring current or future sponsorship for an employment visa status, such as an F1, H1B, or TN visa.
- Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on data collection and analysis.
- Proficiency in JIRA for data tracking and collection.
- Experience with data visualization tools, particularly Tableau.
- Ability to develop and implement predictive models using historical data.
- Effective problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying process gaps and proposing solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work within a team-oriented environment.
- Basic understanding of software development processes and release management.
- Knowledge of Salesforce would be a plus.
- Pursuing or working towards a degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

- Technical interviews with our hiring teams to showcase your skills
- Students who advance to this round will receive preparation prior to the interviews
- Expect up to 3 interviews with Nutanix engineers and leaders. These are designed to assess your technical skills, role readiness, and your motivation for the opportunity at Nutanix. Each meeting will offer you an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the team you’ll potentially work with
- Final Decision: Offers extended to finalists within 2 weeks of the technical interview
Work Arrangement
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
