We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and enthusiastic Business Analyst for Order to Cash space to develop solutions for Global Supply Chain organization. You will be part of Operations Digital, Technology & Innovation (OPS DTI) team. We are in the middle of our journey to implement S/4 HANA along with Transportation Management System (SAP S/4) and SAP EWM as part of advancing strategic capabilities within Amgen’s Supply Chain to enable digitalization, faster decision making & speed to/in market. This role will be critical in our path of transformation to have best in class solutions in Order to Cash space leveraging a portfolio of systems like Rapid Response/Kinaxis, ERP/SAP, SAP TM Module, Data Lake, Control Tower, and Project44.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead discussions with business and IS stakeholders.
- Work closely with stakeholders and elicit information from them in order to understand true business needs.
- Lead and support the design, analysis, and estimation of various projects and enhancements.
- Work closely with the business to understand issues and needs, identify and document business requirements as user stories clearly, and help the team identify solutions that address business problems.
- Be the functional lead that owns the end-to-end solution from the IS side.
- Understand the requirement and impact to business in order to identify the right priorities.
- Understand and be able to review the solution and validate that it meets the requirements from the business.
- Drive and manage business initiatives.
- Understand technology strategy and help develop business case alternatives that anticipate the future direction of the business.
- Work with the product team to facilitate project and enhancement assessments of feasibility, impact, and effort required to implement changes in response to business requirements.
- Exhibit business process expertise in overall Order to Cash, including Transportation and Warehouse Management.
- Utilize AI to solve business problems.

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree
OR
Master’s degree and 2 years of information systems experience
OR
Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of information systems experience
OR
Associate’s degree and 8 years of information systems experience
OR
High school diploma / GED and 10 years of information systems experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience in the following areas: business analysis, defining a business case, leading discussions with business and IS stakeholders, modeling requirements, validating solutions, project and product management, and creating and maintaining a backlog of user stories.
- Knowledge in the following areas: SAP Sales and Distribution, master data concepts, and SAP Warehouse Management System.
- Ability to independently manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, virtual team environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical collaborators and influence executive leaders.
- Experience working in highly collaborative cross-functional environments (e.g., SAFe) and managing large and sophisticated programs.
- Technical curiosity with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to successfully prioritize a diverse workload to meet deadlines and collaboration expectations.
- Must be team-oriented, placing priority on the successful completion of team goals.
- Technical knowledge as it relates to digital transformation at the enterprise level, including mergers and acquisitions.
