Responsibilities
- Work on several transactions and with multiple project teams simultaneously on all critical aspects of transactions, ranging from client development and initial opportunity evaluation to transaction strategy and execution
- Lead in the preparation of financial and economic analyses and models required for the evaluation and completion of such transactions, as well as client presentations, information memoranda and transaction documents
- Seek to identify new business opportunities for Rothschild & Co Global Advisory and new ideas for our clients that advance their strategic objectives
- Modelling and/or supervising financial valuations, e.g. DCF, LBO, multiples
- Preparation and coordination of due diligence process
- Transaction structuring
- Co-ordinating 3rd party advisors
- Supporting coverage effort and attending marketing meetings
- Building sector expertise and market knowledge

Education and Qualifications
- Strong academic background in a relevant field, e.g., Business Administration or Finance

Experience, Skills and Competencies Required
- Three to five years of work experience in an advisory, investment banking or private equity role with a demonstrable track record of success in transaction execution
- Proven quantitative and analytical skills to develop financial models and valuations with a deep understanding of financial statement analysis
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to navigate in an international firm
- Proficient technical skills, especially advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Fluent German and English, both oral and written
- Highly motivated and results-orientated, committed to quality
