THE PERSON:β―

As a Systems Design Engineer, you will drive scalable and automated solutions. In this high visibility position, your systems engineering expertise will be necessary to define products, develop solutions, assess root causes, and produce solution resolutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:β―
β
- Driving technical innovation to improve AMDβs capabilities across product development and validation, including tool and script development, technical and procedural methodology enhancement, and various internal and cross-functional initiatives
- Debugging issues found during the SOC (System on a Chip) programs bring-up, validation, and production phases
- Working with multiple teams and tracking test execution to make sure all features are validated and optimized on time
- Working closely with supporting technical teams
- Engaging in other software/hardware modeling frameworks
- Leading collaborative approaches with multiple teams

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:β―
β
- Programming/scripting skills (e.g., C/C++, Perl, Ruby, Python).β―
- Debug techniques and methodologies
- Experience with common lab equipment, including protocol/logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.β―
- Experience with board/platform-level debug, including delivery, sequencing, analysis, and optimization
- Knowledge of system architecture, technical debug, and validation strategies
- Open to recent graduate

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:β―

- Bachelors or Masters degree in electrical or computer engineering
