As a Software Engineer based out of our New York City Headquarters, you will work with a team that is composed of highly skilled and supportive individuals, with each engineer contributing uniquely to serve our U.S.-based car dealers and manufacturers. The development team oversees and takes ownership of the entire software development life cycle.

A successful Software Engineer will:

‍

Take ownership of assigned deliverables, both in terms of timeliness and software quality.
Develop new software, and enhance existing software, to high standards. Adhere to best practices that enhance user experience, usability, scalability, performance and security.
Learn about various components owned by the team and how these components fit within the overall platform.
Effectively communicate with all stakeholders including regular progress and updates to your manager, peers and leads.

Who you are:

‍

2+ years of software engineering experience
Working knowledge of modern object-oriented languages
Working knowledge of modern front-end frameworks and component-based UI libraries
Working knowledge of object-oriented design techniques and RESTful API implementations
Proficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile
Good experience with developing solutions involving SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
Knowledge of modern relational databases and Google Big Query is a plus.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $69661 to $122231. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
