Contributes to the overall success of the CCAU ATM & POS Technology in International Banking Caribbean ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives.  Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

•   Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
•   Develop knowledge of the Bank's hardware, software/applications, architecture and development tools and techniques. Possess knowledge of state-of-the-art techniques within the industry as well as an awareness of current procedures of all areas affecting the development and operation of systems.
•   Conduct impact analyses to assess business and technical implications of proposed changes
•   Ensure that supervisor or Project Leader is kept informed of all unresolved issues, other areas of concern and any other deviations from plans through timely and well documented reporting
•   Document and maintain internal operational/knowledge manuals.
•   Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards
•   Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
•   Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

•   College Degree/Diploma preferably in the area of Information Systems and Computer Science
•   Working knowledge of JIRA/Confluence/SharePoint
•   3+ years of working knowledge of SDLC in an IT Organization
•   Previous experience working with a financial Institution with sound working knowledge of the processes, products, Technology, Accounting, and controls of the organization
•   English language fluency.
