Position Description:

As a Product Design Intern with Disney Consumer Products (DCP) India, you will work alongside a dynamic team that brings Disney’s beloved characters and stories to life through innovative consumer products. This internship offers a unique opportunity to understand how design, storytelling, and consumer insights come together to create magical products across categories like back to school, automobile, consumer electronics, home, toys for hardlines.

Responsibilities:

‍

1. Gain exposure to the licensing business model by helping track global licensed product trends and understanding how storytelling integrates into retail products. 2. Conduct consumer research - trend analysis, pop culture shift, competitor benchmarking, consumer behaviour studies for FY 2026-27 to uncover insights that inform product and packaging design strategies.

3. Assist in translating research insights into actionable design directions, mood boards, and concept decks for potential product lines and licensed collaborations. 4. Generate product concepts using consumer insights across categories and brands that create immersive consumer experiences and moments.
