This trainee supports the SNP Analytics Manager and works with several areas within the area. The trainee will gain practical experience in data modelling, data pipelines, dashboarding, AI use cases, as well as access to some of the best mentoring available.
Grab offers exposure to practical analytics functions in a collaborative environment, where trainees can build foundational skills and contribute to everyday Data Science and Analytics operations.
This is a 6 months full-time onsite role based in Singapore as part of the GRIT Programme.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
The trainee will be involved in the following areas:
- Assist the SNP team to execute projects for food search on the Grab app, specifically running experiment design and analysis.
- Support Lead Data Scientists and Analysts to conduct deep dives on key user behaviours/pain points.
- Have a chance to work with new advanced AI tools and understand how they are used in analytics and in production.
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Knowledge of SQL and Python for operations like data wrangling, data pipelines and building of models.
- Knowledge of leveraging on AI/LLM to conduct analysis and deep dives.
- Ability to create insights from blending large sets together and arriving at the big picture from the smallest of details. "Storytelling with data" skills.
- Real- life online experimentation skillsets (including experiment design and analysis techniques).
