Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience coding in one or more of the following languages: Java, C++, or Python.
• Experience in embedded systems development.
• Experience with Long-Term Evolution (LTE)/5G New Radio (NR) 3GPP NAS protocols development.
• Experience in software engineering, software development, Android, Android apps, mobile development, and server management.

Preferred qualifications:

• 3 years of experience with software development in android/embedded Linux and embedded Real-Time Operating System (RTOS).
• Experience in system-level power optimization and software development (e.g., Firmware or Linux kernel).
• Experience with LTE/5G NR 3GPP NAS protocol standards.
• Knowledge of machine learning and GenAI.

Responsibilities

• Work on user battery life problem feedback, understand the pain points, and find the root cause or a possible solution to improve the user battery life experience.
• Work with cross-functional hardware, software, and chip teams to debug and optimize power issues for a wide variety of use cases.
• Provide technical support for software solutions, addressing user inquiries and resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Develop Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) or proprietary NAS protocol features to optimize modem protocol voice service, data service, system selection performance, upper layer behaviors.
