WSP is currently initiating a search for an Entry-Level Civil/Structural Engineer (Overhead Transmission Lines) for our Fort Mill, North Carolina office. Be involved in projects with our Power Delivery Carolina Line Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our clientsโ objectives and solves their challenges.

Your Impact
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, and adhere to WSPโs Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
- The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of transmission line design for new lines, relocations, upgrades, and fiber optic additions.
- Support a variety of engineering tasks with the goal to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
- Learn basic principles of Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering.
- Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis.
- Support preparation of final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates.
- Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
- Complete training on assigned tasks.
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSPโs Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Required Qualifications
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSPโs health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
- Actively enrolled in an accredited Civil or Mechanical Engineering or related, Undergraduate program with an anticipated graduation date of December 2025 or later.
- Demonstrated interest in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or related field, and have a strong desire to advance skills related to WSPโs work and projects.
- Competent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience.
- 0-1 years of experience
- Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools.
