Job Description And Responsibilities

Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful results for clients. Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, technology, payments and economics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients. VCA's core client segments include issuers, acquirers, merchants, fintechs, payment enablers and governments.

Specific Responsibilities include:

· Support a team of experienced professionals in delivering strategic consulting services to key Visa clients.

· Complete detailed analysis on client data and identify preliminary trends and themes in the data with some guidance.

· Conduct market research and data analysis to identify insights in the payment industry.

· Support the development of client-specific presentations by adapting templates for unique client scenarios and needs.

· Support senior consultants in developing and delivering high-quality advisory solutions to clients, such as business strategy, product development & pricing, customer segmentation and customer experience improvement.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 3 set days a week (Tuesday - Thursday), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

What we'd like from you -

· Payment industry, digital payments or payment processing experience preferred.

· Strategic and analytical thinking with a strong attention to detail that leverages multiple sources of information.

· Able to understand and start to disaggregate problem statement into distinct pieces of analysis.

· Use and adapt templates for unique client scenarios, optimizing structure to demonstrate + articulate key messages.

· Ability to execute quantitative & qualitative analysis with some guidance.

· Basic takeaways from the data + starting to craft storyline; ensure data quality + leverage data to support decision-making in project management.

· Strong team player with a willingness to collaborate across levels and functional experts.

· Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to adapt.

· Proficient and ideally a power-user of spreadsheet and presentation tools.

· An interest in learning advanced analytics tools (SAS, R, Tableau, etc.).

· An interest in payments, financial institutions or consumer lending a plus.

· An affinity for payments technology, FinTech and digital.
