Job Description And Responsibilities

As Business Development Analyst you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for searching, identifying, structuring, developing, and monitoring partnerships, alliances with players of the payment ecosystem of the South Africa region.

Qualifications

β€’ Experience in the Banking / Financial Services sector, card payment experience preferable
β€’ Knowledge of Mobile Financial Services
β€’ Superior powerpoint and skills
β€’ Skills in marketing is a plus
β€’ Knowledge of the regional regulations is a plus
β€’ Negotiation skills leading to timely and acceptable resolutions
β€’ Client relationship and management skills
β€’ Leadership skills
β€’ Very comfortable with numbers and a strong ability to do analysis
β€’ Solid interpersonal skills and working with cross functional teams
β€’ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - Development and preparation of executive level briefs
β€’ Self-directed and motivated
β€’ Able to work with little management oversight
β€’ Well-structured and organized person
β€’ Execution & result driven person
β€’ Strategic management and creative thinking
β€’ Analytical in thought processes
β€’ Required sales and industry experience
β€’ Knowledge and understanding of banking operations and/ or payment schemes
β€’ Being very comfortable with numbers, financial analysis, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office tools will be required

Basic Qualifications
β€’ Bachelors in Business/ Finance / IT or related field
β€’ Language: English written and spoken

‍

‍

Preferred Qualifications
β€’ 3-5 years of experience
β€’ Business experience including sales, Finance and/or relationship management
β€’ Willingness to learn and execute effectives sales strategies for new payment solutions and services
β€’ Card Issuing/Acquiring experience is beneficial. Exposure to servicing Financial Institution/MNOs in these areas is a plus
β€’ Availability to travel
