Basic Job Functions:

‍

β€’ Must adhere to Nucor Rebar Fabrication's safety programs and standards.
β€’ Demonstrate conduct consistent with Nucor Rebar Fabrication's vision and values.
β€’ Assist the PM team with administrative duties, to include writing change orders, importing job releases, sending documentation, and updating drawing logs.
β€’ Coordinate with the customer and Sales team to manage retail/miscellaneous orders
β€’ Produce necessary documents and coordinate orders in Nucor Rebar Fabrication's business system.
β€’ Assist supervisor in the review of projects, job completions, and forecasting; help resolve discrepancies.
β€’ Understand Nucor Rebar Fabrication's standard contract management procedures Maintain contract file, monitor lump sums for over-runs and final invoicing.
β€’ Place and manage invoicing for non-rebar product orders.
β€’ Track change-orders through business system. Develop a working knowledge of CRSI Manual of Standard Practice, reinforced concrete construction and other industry practices.
β€’ Develop a working knowledge of detailing and fabrication practices.
β€’ Perform other duties as required by your supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

β€’ Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
β€’ High school diploma, GED, or local/state equivalent

‍

Preferences:

β€’ At least one year of experience in construction environment preferred
β€’ Two-year degree from accredited school or college, preferably in Construction Management or Architectural Engineering
β€’ Basic knowledge of reinforcing bar detailing
β€’ Experience in customer relations and resolving problems or disputes
β€’ Previous administrative or project coordination experience
β€’ Possess critical thinking skills and have the ability to creatively problem-solve
β€’ Proficient in Microsoft Office
β€’ Basic knowledge of standard business practices
