Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Financial Analyst to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the monthly close activities, managing journal entries, updating financial reports, and assisting with ad-hoc requests. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Post journal entries and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
- Update and prepare monthly financial reports for management review.
- Perform budgeting and forecasting, including variance analysis;
- Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from various stakeholders.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Support the development and implementation of financial tools and dashboards.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices to enhance financial operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in finance or accounting roles.
- Understand revenue recognition for ACV/subscription-based businesses
- Proficiency in Alteryx, Tableau, and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Open-minded and willing to take on challenges and learn new skills.
- Amenable to work UK Hours
- Amenable to work on Hybrid Work Setup.
- Office is in Ahmedabad. Please ensure you are within the area if applying. (No relocation allowance will be provided)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in ACV/subscription-based businesses area
- Experience in performing budgeting and forecasting, including variance analysis these areas is preferred.
- Experience with data cleaning and maintaining established data workflows.
- Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to push accountability to the correct parties when necessary.
