Our products include investment banking, mergers & acquisitions, corporate banking, institutional equity sales, trading and research, debt products, derivatives, foreign currencies, and commodities. We also cross-sell the full range of wholesale products and services offered by Scotiabank.

Within our Corporate and Investment Banking division, analysts can pursue roles within execution or origination across sector groups including Energy, Technology, LATAM Banking, Real Estate Gaming and Leisure, Power and Utilities, Infrastructure, and more! Β Analysts provide support to the Investment Banking teams globally and develop the skillset to pursue careers in Investment Banking.

What will my responsibilities look like?
β
- Generally supporting client pitches and deal execution efforts
- Evaluating and analyzing the financial needs of corporate clients, including the development of financial models, marketing materials and presentations
- Financial and written analysis of companies and industries, including the development of valuation models, pro-forma financial statements and comparable company analysis, etc.
- Sourcing the data required to perform financial analysis
- Drafting prospectuses and marketing presentations for transactions
- Preparing client presentations
- Applying product and capital markets knowledge to help clients achieve their financial objectives.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? Weβd love to work with you if:
β
- You have an undergraduate or graduate Degree in Business, Finance, Science, Technology, Engineering, Economics or Mathematics discipline or related fields to be completed between December 2025 and July 2026
- You have a demonstrated interest and knowledge of the financial markets
- You have a proven record of outstanding achievement in academic and extracurricular activities
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of work
- You have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
- You work seamlessly within MS Office Suite with expertise in Excel and PowerPoint
- You have strong quantitative skills focused on financial analysis, accounting, and financial theory
- You are a team player with strong interpersonal skills
