AllianzGI is a globally recognized active fund manager, and this role within the Product Specialist team involves supporting communication between Portfolio Managers and various internal teams such as Distribution, Marketing, and Client Reporting. It offers the opportunity to gain exposure to equities-based investment strategies and the investment rationale behind leading public companies. The position includes tasks like writing fund commentaries, creating promotional materials, analyzing competitors, and using data to develop investment content. It is ideal for someone eager to build writing, marketing, and financial knowledge in a collaborative environment that values curiosity, attention to detail, and a strong interest in economics and stock markets.
This role is based in our Frankfurt office.
What you will do
- Support the Product Specialists in the entire process to originate product information, with focus on the investment process, performance explanation, portfolio holdings, and illustration of strategy and single stock investment cases
- Prepare and ensure consistency of the required presentation material for Product Specialists and Fund Managers at marketing events, as well as client and consultant meetings
- Actively support the writing and articulation of portfolio relevant commentaries for regular client reporting and marketing material and ensure timely delivery
- Interact with the broader Product Specialist team and Distribution Teams globally to support the representation of focus products in the relevant marketing formats
- Regularly interact with Portfolio Managers to ensure the correct delivery of investment related messages in marketing material
- Assist the Product Specialist team with the dissemination of product information to internal and external clients
- Perform and interpret qualitative and quantitative analysis including performance attribution analyses, risk analyses, peer group analyses and others
- Support the development, implementation and maintenance of internal tools used for generating reporting and product presentations.
What you bring
- University or equivalent degree, or progressing towards achieving a degree
- Demonstrable interest in finance and/or investing
- Excellent writing and communication skills in German and English, additional language skills are a plus
- Strong organisational skills, and ability to stay focused and work under time pressure to meet deadlines
- Curiosity and proactiveness in challenging the status quo
- Experience in working with tools such as MS Office Excel and Powerpoint, Bloomberg is a plus
- Programming skills (MS office, VBA, SAS, R, Python) advantageous.
