The Operational Project Management – Finance Operations team focuses on key pillars such as Intelligent Automation, AI & Technology, driving forward digitalization initiatives within the Finance function. The team is also responsible for identifying and managing Finance-related projects, as well as maintaining and coordinating IT systems and addressing AI- and data-related topics.
This role is based in our Frankfurt office.
What you will do
- Take an active role in analyzing business processes using modern technologies to identify automation potential
- Assist in implementing process automations, with a focus on intelligent document processing and conversational AI
- Make a significant contribution to continuously improving operational processes
- Support Finance teams in managing project demands and timelines
- Run in-depth analysis on business processes, form factual overview on the stated problems or objectives
- Prepare PowerPoint slide deck for management, summarising and visualizing the key project objectives and goals, key project messages and findings
- Prepare reports on key operational and substantive metrics for the practice group that will better inform decision-making, including matter and work product analyses
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including compliance, legal, risk management, sales, operations, business development, regulatory, IT, and finance as well as well as various business units
- Use GenAI to automate reporting and build presentations that enhance efficiency and impact
- Contribute to finance transformation initiatives by supporting analysis and implementation efforts
- Support the Business Analysis team in testing and validating new features to ensure functionality, accuracy, and alignment with business requirements.
What you bring
- Highly motivated Master student in Banking and Finance, Business Informatics, Business Engineering, or Economics with a focus on Informatics, or similar degree programs. You are enrolled at a university and have completed at least 4 semesters of Bachelor studies
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Conversational AI and/or Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), as well as experience working with Java, JavaScript, and Python
- Experience in GenAI for reporting and automation
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong initiative and proactivity
- Strong customer service focus
- Very strong written, oral, listening and presentation communication skills, and interpersonal skills
- Advanced Microsoft office e.g. PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Business Intelligence experience (preferred Power BI)
- Proficiency in English required, German and further languages would be a plus.
