The team
The Fixed Income division is a key element of Schrodersโ product offering that continues to experience significant growth in the range and depth of investment options for clients. The Product Management team sits within Investment and is responsible for managing the fixed income portfolio of business, allowing fund managers to focus on investing. To further this aim the team wish to recruit enthusiastic, self-starters with keen analytical skills.

The function acts as a conduit between the investment team and distribution, supporting growth and ongoing profitability. The team is involved in a range of high volume activities that include servicing existing clients, preparation for new business pitches, developing new products and being consultative subject matter experts for other parts of the company.

What youโll do
- Provide ongoing support to Investment Directors and product management colleagues to promote the credit platform
- Prepare client reporting packages on monthly and quarterly reporting cycles, including portfolio commentary and performance review
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations for client pitches, portfolio review meetings and conferences.
- Prepare competitor analysis and fund comparisons
- Respond to ad hoc queries from internal counterparties
- Review and contribute to requests for proposal (RFP); maintain library of RFP responses on an ongoing basis
- Maintain department statistics, including product AUMs and team changes
- Liaise with overseas Product Management and Distribution functions
- Automate existing processes for increased efficiency

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
- Enrolled student (m/f/d) in business administration, finance, or a comparable field. Progress towards. completion of CFA examinations would be viewed favourably
- Previous experience in the financial services industry (not limited to asset management)
- Knowledge of fixed income instruments and markets is essential. The candidate should demonstrate a clear. understanding of investment strategies implemented via physical bonds and derivatives
- Sound mathematical and analytical skills
- Very good oral and written and spoken German and English skills
- High level of commitment, resilience, and initiative
- Structured, careful, and responsible approach to work. High attention to detail and accuracy
- Seasoned user of Microsoft Office packages, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Knowledge of other systems an advantage, such as Eikon, eVestment and Morningstar
- Experience using AI, automation, and process optimisation tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency
