We're looking for a Test Engineer to join the Spectacles team!

What youβll do:
- Define test and calibration methods for cameras and other optical sensors including algorithm development and test station hardware definition
- Drive test station manufacturing with third-party vendors
- Support tester bring up in collaboration with our manufacturing partners, write and maintain tester documentation, and review GR&R data
- Troubleshoot and debug test stations and test software and firmware releases
- Support failure analysis through review of test data in collaboration with the camera design engineers
- International travel up to 15% to support factory builds

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, and/or C/C++
- Strong data analysis and visualization skills using tools such as JMP, Python, or MATLAB
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and standards for cameras and fundamental understanding of optical sensing technologies
- Knowledge of standard quality methodologies such as GR&R and SPC

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in optics, physics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in testing of cameras or optical sensors for consumer electronics

Preferred Qualifications:
- PhD or masterβs degree in optics, physics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science or related field
- Experience developing and maintaining factory test and calibration stations for high-volume manufacturing
- Experience with camera calibration and test techniques for computer vision, sensor fusion, active and passive depth sensing, and/or biometric sensing
- Experience with robotics or instrument control automation
