Why the Developer Graduate Programme?

As a Developer, you’ll be the brains behind the design, installation, testing and maintenance of existing and new systems. This is more than playing around with code; you will be playing a critical role in finding innovative solutions to complex problems, for our clients and customers daily.

You’ll develop a solid understanding of the global markets and finance and make an impact right away. You’ll work in a varied and dynamic technical environment that includes Windows, Unix, C++, Java, C#, NoSql, MongoDB, Linux, Python, Hadoop, scripting languages, grid computing and real-time systems. Who we are looking for

‍

To be considered for this programme, you must be able to code in at least one language and ideally have a STEM degree, but it isn't essential. You must also have an anticipated graduation date between September 2026 - March 2027 and a minimum GPA of 3.2 or above.

Ideally, you would also have a strong interest in technology with the drive to solve financial challenges with innovative solutions, and an ambition to design and deliver the next technological breakthrough.

Purpose of the role

‍

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.

Accountabilities

• Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
• Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaboration with peers, participation in code reviews, and promotion of a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
• Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
