What a Supply Chain Engineer does at HP:

- In close collaboration with PRM and HP site manager, drive factory operational and quality performance.
- In close collaboration with global teams, ensure process compliance, audit execution and inventory integrity.
- Lead initial troubleshooting and triage in case of engineering process, system or quality issues.
- Lead design of engineering process and system requirements.
- Co-lead implementation of new process and system requirements at partner site.
- Act as consultant on partner capability and capacity roadmap, for both factory and warehouse.
- Supports and drives engineering process documentation.
- Supports site BCP/Risk efforts.
- Supports and/or leads site related projects and activities.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or other Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Typically 0-1 years experience. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
- Experience or understanding of appropriate engineering design tools and software packages.
- Basic Enterprise Resource System understanding to manage logistics and production process (eg. SAP, Oracle).
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Basic understanding of hardware and electrical component design.
- Basic understanding and intertest in Supply Chain Management.
- Basic process management knowledge.
- Basic understanding of data management, reporting and presentation.
