The Student Intern, under the direction of the Regional Property Leader, will gain an in-depth knowledge of the insurance industry. The Intern will receive on the job training and given the opportunity to work on meaningful assignments. Key functions will include but not limited to:

• Develop an understanding of the insurance industry from multiple facets.

• Achieve a proficiency in the technical and professional. skills/knowledge of the assigned position (on the job training)

• Collaborate on projects as assigned and the opportunity to develop an understanding of the insurance industry.

• Other duties that will support business strategies.

Qualifications:

‍

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

• Knowledgeable and proficient with the Microsoft Professional products in addition to Internet search capabilities.

• Previous customer service work experience a plus.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Your communication style is flexible to the situation. You communicate clearly and with a purpose.

• Calm under pressure. You have excellent organizational skills, integrity, and great follow-through on tasks. You are comfortable challenging norms while working collaboratively with colleagues.

• Natural curiosity. You love learning how things work and you are always looking for innovative improvements.
