About the Role
As a Strategy & Planning Associate for Uber’s Delivery business in Mexico, you'll sit at the heart of our most important strategic efforts—driving planning, execution, and coordination of high-impact initiatives in one of Uber’s top-priority markets globally.
In this role, you’ll help shape both short- and long-term business direction, support seamless execution of critical projects, and serve as a trusted thought partner to senior leaders. You’ll bring strong organizational and analytical skills, paired with the ability to structure complex, cross-functional challenges into clear, actionable plans.

What You'll Do
- Drive Strategic Planning: Lead and support annual planning, quarterly business reviews, and ongoing strategy updates. Align teams on goals, priorities, and trade-offs.
- Lead Program & Project Management: Own the coordination and execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives. Design workstreams, track progress, manage risks, and ensure accountability.
- Establish Governance & Operating Cadence: Develop and manage tools like scorecards, reporting frameworks, and tracking systems to ensure transparency and progress toward strategic objectives.
- Turn Insights into Action: Analyze data and trends to craft clear narratives and recommendations that influence senior leadership decisions.
- Manage Stakeholders Across Teams: Act as the connective thread across Operations, Finance, Marketing, Product, Legal, Public Affairs, and more. Align diverse stakeholders to shared outcomes.
- Optimize Processes: Identify and implement improvements to planning and execution processes, driving efficiency and clarity across the organization.
What You’ll Need
- Experience: a minimum of 3 years of experience in strategy, consulting, business intelligence, project/program management, or a related field.
- Languages: Fluency in Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to varied audiences, including senior stakeholders.
- Structured Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and a track record of turning complex questions into clear, actionable solutions.
- Organizational Excellence: Demonstrated ability to manage multi-stakeholder projects with competing priorities and timelines.
- Collaborative Mindset: Experience working cross-functionally to drive alignment and deliver results.
- Adaptability: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proactive Ownership: Self-starter with a strong sense of initiative and follow-through.

- Experience with SQL or data analytics tools.
