What you will be doing:
Work closely with simulation engineers, robotics researchers, to design and improve simulation tools.
- Provides tools to configure, simulate, and test different types of robots
- Simulates different physical sensors (camera, lidar, IMU)
- Generates synthetic data (segmentation, bounding boxes, etc.) for perception, navigation and manipulation training.
- Ensures transfer learning from simulation to physical robots.
- Enhance the physics simulation of the robots to reduce the sim to real gap.
- Provide a seamless workflow for software in the loop and full stack testing.

What we need to see:
- Pursuing BS, MS, PhD in Computer Science, Applied Math or equivalent program.
- Software development skills, experienced with both C++ and Python as well as version control systems like Git.
- Strong mathematical fundamentals, including linear algebra and calculus.
- Experience with ROS2 based workflows, with robotics simulation or hardware experience.
β
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Experience with Isaac Sim, Omniverse, USD, game/physics engine development, computer graphics.
- Experience with shipping and supporting software products.
- Experience with data-parallel and/or accelerated computing (CUDA, OpenCL).
