As a Data Center Software Engineer, you will be part of an energetic and diverse group of engineers building next-generation solutions, enabling Intel to be one generation ahead in technology.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures the efficient planning, provisioning, installation/configuration, maintenance, and/or operations of the hardware and software infrastructure required to build, validate, and release various hardware and software products and projects.
- Works closely with development and quality teams to derive infrastructure design requirements, build, test, and automate tools appropriate to the project, and/or implement and maintain those systems within the constraints imposed by Intel enterprise infrastructure (IT) and other governing bodies.
- Owns the end-to-end delivery pipeline, including source code management, versioning/tagging strategy, component build and packaging, test automation tooling, release staging, acceptance and/or indicators, required security and IP scans, any third-party conformance tools, artifact storage and distribution, and disaster recovery planning.
- Identifies opportunities and implements solutions for increased automation, reliability, and/or velocity within the pipeline by implementing robust infrastructure telemetry, KPIs, and indicators and monitoring and applying industry best practices.

Qualifications:
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- US Citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active US Government clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other relevant related field of study and 1+ year of relevant experience.
- 1+ years' experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Shell, PowerShell.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience with industry-standard tools such as Ansible, Cobbler, Cfengine, Containers, and Kubernetes.
- 1+ years of experience with Linux OS (preferred SuSE).
- 1+ years of experience continuous monitoring solutions such Elastic, Kibana, Grafana.
