Gexa Energy is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the energy industry, working alongside experienced professionals to support sales and operations teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the energy sector, excellent analytical skills, and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. Interns in this position may work in one of several departments including sales, operations, growth & transformation, or consulting.

Focus Areas:
- Assist in gathering and analyzing data related to market trends, prices, and supply/demand dynamics.
- Contribute to the preparation of daily and monthly demand/usage reports for internal use.
- Assist in monitoring and reporting on market risks and opportunities.
- Aid in ensuring that all activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Contribute to maintaining and updating databases and systems for tracking supply and distribution.
- Support data entry and quality control processes.
- Help prepare communication materials and presentations for various audiences.
- Participate in special projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices through continuous learning.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

- Currently enrolled in a degree program with a focus in Energy Management, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Assists department with assigned projects
- Completes challenging projects and assignments
- Presents final project to senior leadership at the end of the internship
- Assumes responsibility for own travel, lodging, and transportation necessary to be available for the program
