About your team

‍

As an integral member of the European real estate team you will be working together with the local real estate investment management team in order to support ongoing portfolio management activities. You will be reporting to the German real estate country head who is also the fund manager of Fidelity’s flagship institutional Eurozone Fund, the best-performing fund in its peer group since launch in 2011, with around €1.5bn AuM.

About your role

The team has invested in various sectors ranging from offices, logistics, light industrial, life science, retail to residential across the Eurozone, with a focus on Germany, France, The Netherlands and Luxembourg.

You will be working as a fully integrated team member and we can offer you following combined scope of work for the internship:

• Registration into our digital deals database of all property offers which are received.
• Support on transactions such as local market research, location analysis, building assessments, the analysis of letting comparables, review of investment comparables or relevant trends for the subject property, liaising with our researchers.
• Support on deal process management and dataroom management.
• Support in special projects, for example data dashboards, market research, asset management, ESG and sustainability.

The work requires a generalist mindset with high flexibility, as well as a close cooperation with the team. The work on the special projects will have a clearly defined scope and purpose.

We don’t expect you to come straight in and know everything about what we do. As a working student, and whatever you’ve studied, we’ll help make sure you get the most out of your time with us.

You’ll start with a mini induction during which we’ll introduce you to asset management industry and our business. After that, there are many more ways to develop your skills as your progresses. Social and networking events will help you get to know our people and culture. All the while you’ll be learning on the job, working to clear goals and understanding your own potential.

About you

It’s who you are that matters here, rather than what you studied. We look for working students (start date January 2026) who are great in a team, eager to learn and ready to take on a challenge. A genuine curiosity about real estate markets, assets and their fundamentals is vital, as is a lively interest in our work and the financial services sector. Strong analytical and organisational skills and a proactive working attitude are important too. And, as we’re an international organisation, we’ll need you to speak German and English.
