Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an exceptional individual to join the Data Center Capacity and Delivery (DCCD) Program Management Office as a Program Manager suppoting Construction Coordination. Our team provides administrative project support, leads strategic initiatives, and drives process improvement for our Construction customers across the organization. We thrive on operational efficiency and always insist on the highest standards.
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator (both written and verbal), not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities, and have a basic understanding of data center construction, and a drive to learn and be curious. They will be detailed oriented and apply a variety of program coordination tools, methodologies, and techniques that support quick and efficient purchasing across all construction disciplines
• Facilitate Work Order (WO) and Change Order (CO) requests
• Maintain and track the status of contracts in Procore and Contract Central
• Build and manage related key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure, control, and benchmark contract processes
• Partner with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities
• Work closely with internal stakeholders such as program managers, construction managers, pre-construction managers, and legal partner teams to align data and business practices
• Own the delivery and backup of Monthly Business Review (MBR) reporting for peer and manager review
• Implement and maintain reports and dashboards
• Write and maintain internal and external training material and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- Experience with SQL
- Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with cross functional interactions
- Experience working in Procore for Construction Project Management
