We are looking for passionate Test Automation Developers to work in our Video Management System team to achieve this vision. In this role, the Test Automation Developer will contribute by conducting automated test to ensure quality development of microservices and software implementations to meet the client’s requirements and achieve project delivery goals.
Responsibilities:
- Understand product requirements and create test scenarios accordingly.
- Collaborate with Test leads and developers to define test strategy, test plans, and automation frameworks.
- Document test cases, test results, and test coverage.
- Design, develop and maintain Automated Test Scripts using tools like Cypress, laywright, Postman.
- Write reusable test components for regression, performance, and smoke testing.
- Collaborate with DevOps team to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Use tools like JMeter or LoadRunner to automate performance testing when needed.
- Develop and execute manual testcases if needed.
- Log, track, and validate defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla and work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Provide regular reports on test outcomes, automation coverage, and quality trends.
- Propose improvements and suggestions to development team to improve software quality.
The ideal profile should have
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent technical Degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 1 year working experience in software/Tech industry
- Proficient in Automation Tools: with hands-on experience with tools like Playwright, Cypress, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Junit or NUnit.
- CI/CD: Familiarity with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD.
- API Testing: Knowledge of Postman, Postman Newman on Node.js, Express.js or REST Assured for API test automation.
- Familiar with Test Management Tools: JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr and any other test/defect tracking tool.
- Database/SQL: Ability to write basic to advanced SQL queries to validate backend data
- Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) v4.0 (Preferred but not required)
