The Content Authenticity Initiative
โ
โ
With the increasing power and availability of powerful generative AI tools, the world of creativity is exploding with potential. But with this power comes responsibility, and digital content, provenance, or Content Credentials (http://contentcredentials.org/) is critical to ensure transparency for consumers. Itโs also an important part of addressing the spread of disinformation and ultimately restoring trust in content, wherever we find it.
The Content Authenticity Initiative (CAI) team at Adobe believes that building a long-term solution is a shared responsibility among creators, technology companies, civil society, and media publishers. We succeed by joining together to develop an international technical standard (C2PA (http://c2pa.org/)), bolstered by a rich open-source ecosystem and simple user experiences. This is the work of the Adobe CAI team. With over 5000 members, the CAI serves a community of implementers and ensures leading Content Credentials experiences are available across the entire Adobe product suite.
