Role Summary
The Procurement Analyst will support procurement operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, ensuring timely sourcing of materials, services, and components for solar tracker projects. This role requires strong analytical skills, supplier management capabilities, and familiarity with both local and international procurement practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of procurement strategies for solar tracker components and services in KSA.
- Analyze supplier performance, lead times, and costs to drive efficiency and cost savings.
- Manage vendor qualification, onboarding, and compliance with Nextracker’s quality and sustainability standards.
- Coordinate with engineering, project management, and logistics teams to ensure material availability.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Prepare procurement reports, KPIs, and cost analysis for management.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi procurement laws, customs regulations, and Nextracker’s global sourcing policies.
- Assist in negotiations with vendors to secure optimal pricing and contractual terms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of procurement/supply chain experience, preferably in renewable energy, construction, or industrial sectors.
- Strong analytical and Excel/ERP skills (SAP/Oracle or equivalent preferred).
- Knowledge of local procurement regulations in KSA and international trade practices.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills (Arabic and English).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with renewable energy or solar industry supply chains.
- Understanding of logistics and customs clearance in the Middle East.
- Data-driven approach with ability to identify process improvements.
