What Youβll Do:
We are seeking a high-performing, self-sufficient Energy Analyst to join our Sustainability team. This position will be responsible for building out internal reporting and analysis around electricity costs and utilities. We aim to understand how the energy markets and stakeholder relationships impact our business.

About the role:
- Develop and maintain internal dashboards and analytical tools to monitor and forecast electricity and utility costs.
- Rapidly prototype data visualizations that empower executives and stakeholders to make data-informed decisions.
- Collect, clean, and analyze energy market data from internal & external sources.
- Conduct market research on energy trends, policies, and rate structures.
- Partner with Sustainability, Site Selection, and Finance teams to evaluate project economics and support long-term energy procurement strategies.
- Build reproducible workflows and documentation that improve the accuracy, efficiency, and transparency of internal analyses.
- Present findings to senior leadership, clearly articulating implications and recommendations.

Who You Are:
- 3+ years of professional experience working in or analyzing energy markets, utilities, or power systems.
- Strong analytical background with experience processing and interpreting energy market data.
- Proficient in Python for data analysis and visualization.
- Previous experience with energy data sources and tools, such as EIA, PUDL, Orennia, Velocity Suite, Yes Energy, or similar platforms.
- Deeply interested in how energy systems, regulation, and market design impact real-world business outcomes.
- Ability to communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred: (if applicable)
- Familiarity with utility rate design and industrial tariff structures.
- Understanding of energy procurement & markets in ISO and non-ISO regions.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional technical and business teams to interpret energy cost and usage.
