The Power BI Trainee role involves the creation and maintenance of semantic data models and reports. Trainees will learn to:
- Gather requirements
- Clean and transform data using Power Query
- Develop performance-focused semantic models for business needs
- Create basic visualizations and DAX calculations
- Troubleshoot data issues
This role offers a valuable opportunity to develop essential skills in Power BI and data analytics.
Job Qualifications
- 3rd, 4th, 5th year students or graduates in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Good to have : Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, R, JavaScript, C++, Java, etc.
- Experience working with relational databases like MS SQL Server, MySQL...
- Basic knowledge of Power BI Desktop, Power Query, and DAX
- Good to have: Data Modeling, DAX, SQL, Power Query (M Language) and Report Design
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Collaboration: Strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with senior developers and business users.
- Visualization Best Practices: Familiarity with best practices for data visualization to create clear and effective reports.
