Position Overview
Infrastructure Core Products (ICP) β Global Network Services (GNS) is responsible for the development, engineering, and operation of the Deutsche Bank's global network for all areas of the bank. GNS supports all aspects of the network infrastructure across more than 2500 locations in 50 countries.

As a NetDevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for complex network deployments and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery and high network availability. In addition to solid technical knowledge, you should bring enthusiasm for innovation, continuous learning, and the drive to create sustainable change.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Planning, designing, and executing network deployments, including routers, switches, firewalls, and WLAN systems across multiple locations.
- Developing and implementing Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar technologies.
- Automating deployment and monitoring tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.
- Collaborating with operations and engineering teams to enhance automation, performance, and stability.
- Analyzing and troubleshooting complex network issues in a timely manner.
- Analyzing existing network deployments and devising improvements regarding scalability, security, and efficiency.
- Contributing to the further development of technical working methods and standards, bringing practical perspectives from deployment.
- Documenting deployment processes, network topologies, and configurations.
- Building and maintaining reliable working relationships with technical contacts within GNS and external vendors.

Your Skills and Experience
- Up to 4 years of professional experience in a global corporate network environment, ideally in regulated industries such as financial services.
- Practical knowledge of network protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, STP, VXLAN, etc.) as well as platforms from Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet, or similar manufacturers.
- Proficiency in network automation tools and scripting (Python, YAML, JSON) as well as version control systems (preferably Git).
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code approaches and agile or DevOps-oriented environments.
- Technical certification (e.g., Cisco CCNA or equivalent).
- Ability to analyze complex problems, articulate solutions clearly, constructively question assumptions, and drive change.
- Strong teamwork skills, openness to new ideas and improvements in collaborative working methods, as well as a high willingness to learn, enthusiasm for innovation, and a proactive mindset.
- Good communication skills in German and English (both written and spoken).
- Willingness to be flexible, including working evenings and weekends as business needs require.
