Conduct engineering evaluations for parts repairs based on inspection results and the specified scope in the repair contract.
Compile repair documents and process qualification materials to meet "standardized operation" requirements in lean production.
Develop repair process documents for each project according to actual repair needs, while analyzing the value stream to identify and eliminate non-value-added wastes like waiting times and redundant actions.
Formulate technical solutions and make decisions during the repair process, optimizing based on lean principles (e.g., shortening repair cycles, improving first-pass repair rates) to reduce costs.
Review repair schedules to ensure they meet customer requirements and monitor progress in real time using tools like kanban management to avoid extra costs due to delays.
Select replacement parts, consumables, and Standard Operating Procedures (POR) for repairs, prioritizing cost-effective materials aligned with "zero inventory" or "low inventory" lean procurement principles.
Review project-level cost structures against lean cost control targets (e.g., unit repair costs, material waste rates) and implement timely improvements for budget overruns.
Prepare and submit repair reports that include lean improvement results (e.g., efficiency and cost reductions) and quality compliance status.

EHS & Quality (Environment, Health, Safety and Quality)
Collaborate with the EHS department to eliminate hazards and integrate EHS requirements into lean improvement activities.
Monitor and inspect repair quality, ensuring strict adherence to repair documents; promote lean quality tools to minimize rework rates and quality costs.
Implement 6S management (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety) within the repair team, optimizing work area layouts to enhance efficiency.
Address customer inquiries about repair results; perform root cause analysis on quality issues, utilizing lean methods to improve processes and reduce quality costs.
