AECOM is seeking a Landscape Architecture Intern to be based in Tampa, FL .
This position is expected to begin in January 2026.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out tasks.
- Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of science alternatives.
- Prepare planning documents, conceptual and schematic designs, illustrations and graphics, construction documents, technical specifications, and cost estimates for a wide variety of public and private sector projects.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to team discussions.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited University program and must have completed at least 1 year of study. Candidates who have graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree and plan to continue with the Master’s Degree are eligible to apply for these positions. Graduates must have been enrolled in their Bachelor’s Degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the design process, conceptual thinking and detailed design/construction document knowledge.
- Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.
- Prior related internship and/or professional experience.
- Experience with AutoCAD (Civil 3D), Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Revit and other industry related software is a plus.
