We are looking for a new Junior Software Engineer to join our team in MetLife Colombia.

You will design, develop, and maintain solutions across three key lines of business, ensuring agility and a strong technical foundation. Our approach emphasizes agile delivery, performance, security, and business value. The Junior Software Developer is responsible for develop solutions across all Line of Business of MetLife Colombia. This is an exciting opportunity to create outstanding solutions, digital products and tech enablers to our customers.

Success in this role requires fast learning and agile mindset . The Junior Software Developer is responsible for develop solutions and create innovative tech enablers to leverage the business and customer experience. You’ll collaborate closely with agile teams, Line of Business stakeholders and customers in an environment where every contribution is respected, and every perspective is heard.

• Develop technical solutions for complex problems
• Develop technical enablers for the tech team and business
• Promote new technical approaches
• Research and promote innovative solutions, tools and good practices

To help you succeed, you need to have…

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer systems, or afine career.

‍

‍

And it will be a plus if you have…

• Experience in frontend frameworks such as ReactJs, Vue or Angular
• .Net, Javascript, Python or Java programming languages.
• Docker or/and containers solutions
• Kubernetes or/and orchestration solutions
• CI/CD strategies and flow
• Azure, GCP or AWS.
