
• work together with senior bankers to originate business, including developing pitch book presentations and financial modelling.
• coordinating with our product team partners and sector coverage team located in other geographies to develop cross-product ideas.

You’ll be working in the Emerging Companies coverage team based in Sydney and working closely with our other sector and product colleagues across Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, and Auckland. We advise small to mid-cap, founder-led and investor-backed growth companies across a range of sectors including consumer, TMT, Industrials, healthcare and business services. Our mandate spans the full company lifecycle – from growth equity and private capital raises through pre-IPO, IPO/dual-track and public company takeovers. Given the cross-border nature of our clients and investor base, we work closely with UBS’s global M&A, ECM, and Private Capital teams.

• 2–4 years’ experience in investment banking, corporate advisory, or transaction services
• a track record of success, both academically and professionally
• excellent financial analysis skills, with the ability to efficiently produce high quality presentation materials
• able to communicate clearly and work effectively as part of a team
• track record of operating effectively under pressure and collaborating in a high-throughput deal environment.
• demonstrable experience with prior transactions looked upon favourably (but not essential)
• ready to start in a highly active team with a very full pipeline of execution
• Proactive relationship-builder with founders, management teams and investors
