About the Team
As a Registration Operations Intern, you will focus on automating the vehicle registration operations workflows, increasing customer awareness of the registration process, and minimize compliance risks. As a member of the Delivery Product team, you will have the opportunity to solve unique challenges that will directly impact customer satisfaction, operational efficiency and support Tesla’s mission of sustainable energy adoption. Your success will be measured by improved delivery metrics and customer feedback.
What You’ll Do
- Support Product Managers with critical priorities and launch readiness of new products and programs
- Perform market and policy research, present tradeoffs and opportunities, and manage the execution of product strategies collaborating directly with engineering teams and design
- Expand agreements e-sign and automate workflows to process registration with motor vehicle authorities
- Develop strategic messaging to set expectations about the registration and titling process
- Enhance in-app experience to reduce time to registration
What You’ll Bring
- Currently pursuing a degree in engineering or a related field of study with a graduation date between April 2026-May 2027
- Able to work on site in Fremont, CA
- Experience in cross-functional work spanning multiple product areas, operational teams, and legal
- Strong desire to develop a deep understanding of compliance, operational, and market requirements
- Excellent organization, communication, and documentation skills
- Previous experience in product management is not required, a strong academic understanding of technical topics and an interest in operations, strategy, and compliance is required
