In your new role you will:
- Work with experts at a global semiconductor company and leading MEMS microphone supplier to develop and characterize next‑generation audio technologies
 - Support our team with a strong focus on electro-acoustic lab work and early stage concept development
 - Gain insights into the development of MEMS audio products for smartphones, hearables, IoT and automotive applications
 - Measure and analyze performance parameters as well as audio quality of existing and next generation microphones
 - Work on novel sensing concepts, experiment design, fixture preparation, data processing and visualization (e.g. Python, MATLAB) and listening tests
 - Shape the next generation of microphone solutions

Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 12 monthsYou successfully meet the requirements, if you are a motivated and committed master student (f/m/div) from the field of Electronics or Electrical Engineering with focus on Audio Engineering or similar. 
You are best equipped for this task if you additionally offer:
- Background in acoustics and signal processing
 - Lab skills
 - Curiosity for state-of-the-art developments of microphone solutions in the semiconductor industry
 - Good English skills
